Jason Morgan

Morgan advises on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, leasing, joint ventures, and general real estate matters across all major asset classes, with particular emphasis on multifamily residential, industrial, office, renewable energy, and hospitality assets. He works closely with principals to structure and execute transactions from initial deal formation through closing, aligning legal strategy with business objectives.

Morgan has significant experience in the hospitality sector, representing hotel owners and management companies in both in-house and outside general counsel roles. He is well-versed in the legal, operational, and business aspects of hotel ownership, development, and management, and brings a practical perspective informed by time spent on the principal side of the real estate industry.

Prior to founding Perspective Law Group, Morgan was a partner at a respected boutique real estate firm. He also served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Associate General Counsel at The Kor Group, a hotel and real estate development, investment, and management company and the original developer of the Viceroy Hotels & Resorts brand, where he worked at the intersection of legal strategy and business execution across the company's residential and hospitality platforms. During his tenure, he played a key role in the acquisition, development, financing, restructuring, and note sale of a $500 million resort project in Anguilla — now the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla — as well as acquisitions and dispositions in the United States and Mexico.

He began his legal career in the Real Estate Departments of Paul Hastings LLP and DLA Piper.

Morgan earned his B.A., summa cum laude, from Boise State University, where he was named a Top Ten Scholar — the highest academic honor awarded to an undergraduate student — and was a four-year member of the men's varsity golf team. He received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Loyola Law School, graduating in the top five percent of his class. He is also a licensed California real estate broker (BRE No. 01943577).

Morgan is a co-founder and board member of Tudela Fútbol Club Los Angeles, a nonprofit girls soccer club dedicated to youth development, competitive excellence, and expanding opportunities for young female athletes. Born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, he has called Los Angeles home for nearly twenty-six years.
